EXOS2-GT USB PC Interface Cableallows you to connect the BRESSER EXOSII GOTO EQ handset to the USB port of a PC or laptop using the new Bresser Driver that is compatible with ASCOM to operate the mount using Windows navigation software via ASCOM.
AlsoEXOS2-GT USB PC Interface Cableis designed to control your computerized telescope from a laptop or PC through various programs of the planetarium.
Unlike the standard EXOS2-GT CABLE SET, forEXOS2-GT USB PC Interface Cable, a serial port adapter is not required.
Using this USB cable, you can upgrade the EXOS2 TO EQ manual controller firmware to version 2.3 and work in conjunction with the new ASCOM compatible Bresser driver to control the mount using Windows navigation software via ASCOM.
The USB interface cable is used with the Bresser Goto control system for equatorial mounts, which is supplied as standard equipment for the BRESSER and Explore Scientific exos-2 mounts.
Connecting a computer to your telescope will also allow you to move the telescope from different planetarium programs! Today, there are many programs available that not only display the night sky, as it appears on any chosen observation night, but this will allow you to send your telescope to any object on the screen at the touch of a button.
